Top 10 restaurants in Spindleruv Mlyn - CZ

Spindleruv Mlyn is the most popular ski resort in the Czech Krkonose mountains. Not only is it a firm favourite with the smart Prague business set but it plays host to an international audience from far and wide. Happily this small town plays host to many fabulous restaurants and have personally never had a bad eating experience here. What is even more unusual in this country is the fact that the service is usually top quality with many professional waiters chosing to leave their jobs in London restaurants to spend the ski season in Spindl.
Below I have listed what I think are the top 10 places to eat. If you have others would be glad to hear from you.

1) BAKCHUS - extensive menu and wine list and absolutely fabulous food.Better than anything in Prague.http://www.bakchus.cz/
2) ABACANTE - mexican food with great party atmosphere all day every day.

3) ELAN Cafe - always packed by the Prague politico crowd but good food of an eclectic nature.

4) APETITO - newest restaurant in town . Good steak and fabulous homemade Tiramisu.
5) PIZZERIE BELMONTE - popular with families after a hard mornings skiing. Penne Arrabiata rocks!

6) RESTAURACE LABUZNIK - doesn't look great from outside but simple comfort food, solid old style service and huge portions.Nice garden next to the river.

7) ORANGE MOON - great Thai food and well worth the walk .
8) BOGNOR CAFE - huge desserts in the shape of popular pasta dishes !!
9) HOTEL NECHANICKY - something for the Germans!
10) HOTEL WINDSOR - child friendly with large childrens menu.
